This is some really good stuff. I'll start with the packaging. The artwork on the front cover has a unique, comic book-esque style to it, the cover has an animated kid on top of a hill staring down at a city-scape, which looks cool. The CD is screened with another cool image from the back cover, and it all gives this release character. Evasion plays the modern melodic hardcore style well, and they do it without making it wimped-out like other bands do. These guys sound tight as a band, and the music is really put together well. Whoever recorded this album knows what they are doing the production is crispy and makes the instruments jump out at you. If I could choose an area of criticism it would be that the lyrics can be cheesy at times:

"Can you not hear it?,
These melodies speak volumes of hope and compassion
Do you not feel the power of the room erupting through our own lungs?
Something more lies within these words."

I don't doubt the band's sincerity, maybe it's just that I feel those same lines have been paraphrased by nearly every epic modern hardcore band out right now. It's not that hard to look past thing like this when the music is memorable and interesting. Evasion meets this criteria. If you're into bands like Modern Life is War, Verse, Fired Up etc. you would like this CD. Even if you're not (which I'm not), you'll probably be into this anyway.
