Very punchy explosive rhythm heavy hardcore played with Conviction and going for it in every note and word. The songs are strong thoughts, as are the lyrics which are full of insight and bold conclusion and metaphor, and with in those complex pieces a mechanical jun jun sounds intelligent here and get open. Burnesque comparisions I am sure, but there is much more here and meaningfulness on an early record would be comparative to a Strike Anywhere or Inside Out in this vets opinion. Lyrics are stated, drums are straight rolling thunder and the tear downs hurt.
