This zine interviews features interviews with Murphys Law, Ronin of Boston Beatdown fame, Venice Beach thrash legends Beowolf, and Brophy of In Our Blood. The interviews are good, interesting questions are asked and in turn, interesting responses are recieved. The layout is a strong point as well, nice use of old flyers without overdoing it.There was a lot of reviews in this issue, although nearly all of them are brief, this is good because it cuts out all the bullshit and tells you what the band sounds like and if you should buy the record or not. The rants section was funny, especially the one about European people's voracious vinyl appetites on eBay. There was a ton of information about weight training, lots of workout tips etc. which were clear and concise. This issue of Tough Guy Times left me wanting to read more, just like the other issues I've read. My only complaint is that it isn't longer. This is one of the better zines out today and if you like Heavy hardcore, is a must read.
