Trample from Florida plays in a moshy, NYHC style that takes influences from The Cro-Mags and Sick of it All. I enjoyed this 9 song CD, what's cool is that it just showed up in my mailbox out of nowhere, I always appreciate people sending stuff in, and this was a nice surprise. The CD is pretty solid from start to finish. There are some cool guitar leads mixed in with harsh vocals and lots of kickdrum-laden intros and breakdowns. Track 3 the "Trample Theme" and track six, "No Weak Links" were my favorite on here, and make me want to get nuts. Some of the lyrical content includes songs about having faith in one's self, human rights, and how fucked up the world is today. The last song (I guess you could call it a hidden track" is a really tightly played cover of "Glue" by SSDecontrol that's sounds awesome. My only beef is the guest/backup vocals on the title track are kind of annoying, but the rest of the track is good, so this can be overlooked. Overall this is worth picking up, I'm glad it was sent in.
