So maybe it’s a new style of metal core they play that is beyond, or its too complex, or too....I don't know its just lost, much like Converge, I didn’t get it at all. Hope Con is just all this stuff and rrrrrrr. There is all this work in the music and this guitar ringing that hurts my canine. Obviously these guys can play and its all tight and I know they are loved and this is a big Deathwish release and production, but sorry it just doesn’t go anywhere and that ringing that sounds like someone just banging on the guitar. Big deep lyrics and titles and all this effort music and layers and explosiveness and dudes going for it and ........its just noise. Notice I use “I” all day in this review as I need you to know this is opinion and I am almost uncomfortable as I feel a little bad how much I don’t hear here.

Hope Con is so ornate on the cover, its illegible.
