[4 OF 5]

Ryan lyrically covers a spectrum of questions and failures, epiphanies and lies, takes on life, and thoughts and feelings from a very lonely perspective and dives into what obviously is still a source of anger for him personally on Honor Thy Father ...full review.
Fucked Up
The Chemistry of Common Life
[2 OF 5]
http://lookingforgold.blogspot.com/

So the Son the Father and Magic World, the most solid track on Chemistry, start rocking enough once they get going after the flute, but after that this record gets a little noisy and, while album shots at atmosphere and texture on this journey instead, create large vacancies in its forced attempt to be epic....full review.

Crime In Stereo – The Troubled Stateside, Nitro records.

What we have here is the 2nd full length by Long Island’s Crime In Stereo. If you liked “Explosives & The Will To Use Them”, you will not be disappointed. The album’s opener “Everything Changes/Nothing Is Ever Truly Lost,” grabs your attention & keeps it through the rest of the release. Aggressive, fast, (yet tight as hell) with plenty of melody & tempo changes to keep this interesting, and a ton
of sing-a-long parts & easy to understand vocals. Even though it’s a little more melodic than the first one (both in the vocals & instrumentally) , it still maintains their trademark sound. I think the guitar work on this record’s great. “Bicycles For Afghanistan,” is one of my favorite tracks on this record as well as the closer “I, Stateside” that had the chorus stuck in my head for hours after, hell there isn’t a song on here that’s not good. I can definitely see these guys going places with this solid release, glad to see that there's no sophmore jinx here.
