You all know I hate to compare, do "sounds like" and or "fans of" but when I say it, it's for real as I have respect for the NYHC greats and I was there and the Rev HQ back cover ad promotiong 8 records was dead on with their Leeway Cro-Mags bullshit "fans of" statement on Iron Age. Its like Leeway with the best growling hardcore vocals ever and you know what there is a whole bunch of mixed in? Kill 'Em All. That's right Kill 'Em All. Do kids even know about that record from a band once great before they got loaded and reloaded? I have had a tough time finding much information or a website for Iron Age or even a myspace page for the band itself, though Youngblood Records has one, I guess that's kind of refreshing in this day and age. Anyway bring me back to a Return To the Void where the vocalist pops a " ou" in a growl in a line " Since I 've felt control" that says I can bust a bit of rock and roll with this poppin guitar if i gotta. Anyway I love this record, its just so tightly produced, almost too tight, that it is C-RAP.com first record of the week, though it will probably be at least a month as I dont like new shit this much. Consume this record.
