Wake Up Call. The catchiest most original songs and lyrics saying some of the same old hardcore cliches about the scene, being stabbed in the back, knowing your self, do unto others and other challenging themes. For real its that good and once again I love the aggressive attack and passion as these young musicians push themselves through One Eye Open. Until I read the lyrics I thought it was straight edge, and it may be, however I did not bother to go find out, and the messages apply to many things, seem real, I beleive the band, the conviction, and simply put as I said above, really catchy, meaningful, but fun hardcore. Lines ring out from this album in my head all day, " You're Only Abusing it!" and " fuck what they told you, just trying to mold you, shape and control you, bend and then fold you."
