The Best of Madball

Now I don’t know if I have gotten harder with more years on me, but chances are 'yes,I am even harder'. And I have been ridiculously into Madball lately again anyway; enter this collection. With all the crap that people throw into this thing or say came out of this thing, fuck off. This is real hardcore and it’s from NY and I feel like going off. A must have. How did this reissue manage to stay hidden from me for 3 years? I thought you guys were my friends. I thought you guys cared. Must Have! Go to Blackout Records. (blackout)r

Again I gotta say, you thought there were a lot of re-issues and new packages, discographies and what not last year and the year before, you ain’t seen shit yet. And for all of us there, we know the music was better before. The mastering punch and listening to Bad Brains cuts with different sequencing spanning all their albums in no particular order did what many of these packages has done lately; freshen up some shits I have loved 100000X over. All right, how was I not made aware of this re-issue on Mendit as soon as it came out? Now I am in the fucking loop and everyone knows I spin Trial and the Tiny Giants 7” at least once a week on the Tech 12; where was the heads up? Truly one of the greatest bands and this collection truly takes you to Verbal Assaults earliest days. I even felt there was some chronology in the sequencing. Awesome. This is the Must Have of this year! Looking forward to Volume 2 and I better know about it! (Mendit)
