Revelation 100

A Fifteen Year Retrospective of Rare Recordings

I do not usually consider records, comps, retrospectives, or collections
like this a must have as the material is usually available elsewhere and since New York Hardcore, there has not been a comp that has mattered and they have been overdone to say the least. This is not the case here. The YOT, live Side by Side, and the Judge are enough for me to grab this and I do think it is as Revelation says;
"Rare."

Taking Over is one of my favorite records of all time. This record is good,
but the Paramount in their home state NJ, did not sound that full the night
of the recording. When they go into an audience sing along on In Union We
Stand
it sounds light. If you are going to bust that sing along out make it
sound packed; beef it up in the studio after the fact if you have to.

I do not think that people consciously think about doing what the Dashboard dude is doing before they do it. They think that what they’re doing is more genuine and natural. What I am saying is, I do not think they consciously make a decision to do what Dashboard is doing; it just happens. Either way, I am not down. In regard to this split CD, I like the dude from Alkaline Trio's stuff better than Kevin's, but who I am to compare them just because they are next to each other on a split. Sorry, but for me they are in the same vein. I want to love everything Kevin does, but I just don't, like some of those later 7 Seconds records. (Asian Man)

I am down with this. Sergio is tight here. I saw Fully a few times live and was not that moved. Is any of the Fully material even available? Cause, We all recognize the sound of an old school beat down. (GrapeOS)
