Machine Head

Through the Ashes of Empires

Since the people over at Roadrunner decided to be cute and copy protect the new Machine Head record, because you know the whole of 10 kids gives a flying fuck about this band anymore and just might throw this shit up on Soulseek, this record will be getting no love from this end. Oh yeah, and it crashed my computer.

I haven’t liked anything by MH since, Burn My Eyes so chances are I would’ve hated it anyway. Thanks guys. (roadrunner)

No Redeeming Social Value

NRSV-HCTV

First off I wanna say how fucking good this DVD looks. These guys did an incredible job putting this joint together. I don’t even know where to start. The menu is set up in true No Redeeming fashion. Forties lined up on the bar and Dean in some ridiculous costume. Fucking awesome. You‘ve got amazingly funny skits, explosive live footage where cats are just going ballistic, beer, destruction, dope tunes, weed, freestyles, mayhem, Metal, blunts, Hardcore, and the presently missing (again!) Mike Dixon on vox up in that piece. And that cribs shit had me rolling. You know something, these guys being themselves is funny enough. Its just action packed from beginning to end. Classics! I am not kidding. This DVD just reminds of how underrated No Redeeming is and how much I wish they would play more. People need to wake the fuck up and recognize.

Do yourselves a service and get this DVD, and go check No Redeeming out live before they decide to hang it up and all you kids start crying on messageboards how you never got to see them.

I’m about to go dial 1-800-32-PICKLE right now because that dude in the ad looks hot. (scar productions)

Challenger

Giving People What They Want In Lethal Doses

Sounds like Fugazi, when they were still a little heavy, and that is all fucking right by me. Never was a fan of Milemarker but Challenger definitely got me. Ok, that’s it; I love the record. (Jadetree)
