WOW!
I guess that accident changed this band in more ways
than one. Candiria has taken an entirely new direction
to songwriting and I love it. Still retaining some of
Candiria old they manage to bring in a completely new
level of melody that creates these intricate textures.
It’s still heavy but reminding me of A Perfect
Circle at times. Candiria have never shied away from
dynamics and ethereal themes but the vocals have definitely
caught up. Carley does an exceptional job switching
from a growl to melody to rhyme slayer. The Reggae hip-hop
jam, “9MM” featuring Capital “S”,
Q-Sean, and Carley is on point.
There’s
something in here for everyone.
Candiria
have been sludging along for years, never getting the
recognition they most certainly deserved. Open up a
little and let them blow you the fuck away. (Type
