No
thanks. You’re right how fucking obvious of me,
but I got into it when I reviewed the EP leading up
to this embodiment of ‘punk rock that definitely
ain’t punk rock’ and I said it all there
and I did not discover anything else on the full length
except more fucking c...rap; so NOFX, no thanks.

Holy
shit a new original punk rock band not making copies
of redone and shooting for TRL with ironic and funny
lyrics and shamelessly acting like asses over simple
hooks for 10 year olds, but someone doing something!
No Joke last week I decided I hated punk rock, even
all the old bands have let us down. I love None More
Black’s vocals, lyrics and just the whole record.
You don’t question why these guys are doing what
they are doing. Real props here you may have saved some
people. Recognize this band and record. More None
More Black, please! (Fat Wreck
Chords) |

Someone
said New York Hardcore was dead. It’s
not. It burns inside On the Rise. Classic,
traditional NYHC sound, yet great original songs that
dare melody, and challenge. Classic NYHC production
and guest appearances from Mike Scondotto Inhuman,
Rob Everybody Gets Hurt and Roger
Miret (and if you don’t know...). Get
fucking open on Burning Inside.

I
never got into Shai Hulud and it was never intentional.
They were always right there and peoples whom I talk
music with love this band and I know kids whom live
for this band. With that said, I bought my first Shai
Hulud record, That Within Blood Ill Tempered.
I love this record. I think I expected them to be a
simpler hardcore band. This band is intense and serious.
The music is full of tension and pulls and tears one.
It is unpredictable and complex in orchestration and
I have much respect for the musicians who challenge
themselves. The lyrics are really serious yo. (Revelation)
