2 great songs from what I know in one case so far is one of the best records of the year and I would expect similar greatness from the other which we should have in a minute. (Island)

Years ago I would go to Modells on LI and they would have $1 bins of VHS’s mostly kung fu and B English biker movies. This Turbo Negro record is an A soundtrack to one of those B biker movies. I remember this one where they would ride really fast and drive themselves to death and as long as they enjoyed the ride to their death they would come back and live forever. I know this is off the subject a little, but its what goes on when I listen to this record; I enjoy the whole ride. What does the intro remind me of? Each song is epic. These guys are holding down rock & roll. (Burning Heart/Epitaph)

Ok, what can be said about Slayer that hasn’t been said already? The music portion of this DVD is brutal. 15-20 later and these guys still fucking Burn. Though, Dave Lombardo is definitely the link that has always kept Slayer rhythmically on point, Paul Bostaph does not disappoint. The fan portion of this release is testament that Slayer fans lose their fucking minds when it comes to this band. There are always arguments as to which band is the heaviest or the most evil. Nothing comes even close to Slayer. They have compromised nothing in their careers and I for one have been there, proudly, every step of the way. As a wise man on the Slayer DVD pointed out, “If you don’t listen to Slayer, you should just fucking die.” Nuff Said. (American)
