Here’s
one more In-Effect joint with Agnostic Front from 1989 for
you to chew on. Big Up to Chris Wynne for allowing us to grace
you with these classics.
As
I was thumbing through last months Revolver magazine I came
across the Metallica interview which featured a photo of their
new bassist Rob Trujillo. Trujillo’s last gig was with
Ozzy Osbourne but more importantly he was the former bass
player for Suicidal Tendencies. I get to the band photo and
notice something I haven’t seen in years. A “Mahfukin”
In Effect zine shirt. For those disciples of early-mid 90’s
NYHC this zine was like the scripture. I would eagerly await
the new issue every month (or whenever Chris Wynne decided
to bless us with a new joint). I couldn’t believe that
someone from Metallica would be rocking that vintage piece.
It’s nice to see that what’s old is now new again.
I commend Rob for shedding light on an important piece of
NYHC history.
So
for your reading pleasure C…Rap brings you 2 flashback
interviews with Breakdown
and Supertouch
from In-Effect #3 (1989). Now go learn sumfin…
