Rock your asses?
H2O, responsible for one of my favorite records, played a huge radio rock festival in Houston, Texas yesterday. Buzzfest, a clear channel alternative radio stations' semi-annual concert event, was well attended even though the weather was not great and featured the likes of The Used, Box Car Racer, Saliva, and Hoobastank. H2O were second on the side stage following Home Town Hero. I was excited to see H2O as I had not seen them in awhile and their live show was always great, even if this time it would be in a very safe, corporate environment. The anticipation for some H2O fans mounted and for others: "Play some fucking music already!"

Then, out of nowhere this short, chubby, beard sporting Buzz jock, hit the stage. 1000 kids staring at him and went like this:

"So....you all ready to rock your asses?"

silence …

"YOU ALL READY TO ROCK YOUR ASSES?"

It was about the most mortifying and funny thing I had ever seen. My cheeks heated and I blushed for him. Oh yeah. He was bringing out H2O.

Do some homework on who you are bringing out, dude!

H2O set was cool.
